Front Porch Change up!!

It is that time of year again,the sun has  come out for a few days and everyone is starting to groom their yards and out door spaces.I have been waiting for this day all winter,time to add some punch to my worn out front porch.In the past years I have painted my door several colors but always left the porch a faded stained color.This year I am going bold and painting my porch white!!!!

I live in a neighborhood where all the houses are pretty much the same except for a small detail.This year my front porch is going to break away from the normal.

I started out by painting my door a bold turquoise,then I went ahead with the white outdoor paint.I had to use three coats to get a good coverage but it was well worth it.

I added some flowers and water washed a few pieces with a bit or watered down turquoise paint so everything tied in.

Here are the before and afters…I am still debating on a wood screen door…… painted white of course?
